'To Live or Not to Live' is a book written by the Bengali-English writer and cultural commentator Nirad Chandro Chaudhuri. In his essay on Delhi in 'To Live or Not to Live', Chaudhuri complains of the Punjabis' reluctance to take "any break for a siesta in the Hindu or Winston Churchill manner". One review of the book on gooderads ends with the words "No doubt Choudhuri was a gifted writer, but this is not his best gift to Indian literature".

No one is ever going to give you something that they're too afraid to even claim for themselves. People don't know themselves, so they don't like to see other people figure it out and live their lives in ways that they themselves cannot. So they try to box you in, and limit you, so they don't feel inadequate. But you don't need their approval- the only person who ever, ever limits you is yourself.
