The Dead Sea, also called the Salt Sea, is a salt lake bordering Jordan to the east, and Palestine and Israel to the West. It is considered the most salty sea in the world. The Dead Sea is so salty because it doesn't have an outlet for the salt to flow out. When water evaporates the dissolved salts are left behind. Because they have no outlet the salt has built up over many years.
