For getting a better rear view in vehicles what type of mirror is normally used?

Options :
  1. Inverted
  2. Plane
  3. Concave
  4. Convex
Answer and Explanation :-

Answer: Option 4

Concave mirror is used in the head lights of vehicles and for the rear view Convex mirror is used. Convex mirror is used for getting the rear view in a vehicle because it can make images of objects small and erect at any condition where as in a concave mirror images depend on the placement of the object. The size of the image in a Convex mirror is always small than the actual object and it has a wider field of view as it is curved outwards, hence it is preferred to the Concave mirror.
