Which among the following is the first man-made synthetic fibre?

Options :
  1. Rayon
  2. Nylon
  3. Polyester
  4. Terry cot
Answer and Explanation :-

Answer: Option 2

The first synthetic fibre to be made was Rayon in 1885 by a Swiss Chemist named Audemars. But Nylon is considered the first true man-made synthetic fibre invented, even though it was created much later in 1931, as unlike other synthetic fibres like Rayon and Acetate, which had been derived from plant cellulose, Nylon was synthesized completely from petrochemicals.

People have to forgive. We don't have to like them, we don't have to be friends with them, we don't have to send them hearts in text messages, but we have to forgive them, to overlook, to forget. Because if we don't we are tying rocks to our feet, too much for our wings to carry!
