The first Tied Test Match was played between the Australian Team led by Richie Benaud and the West Indian Team led by Frank Worrell at the Brisbane Cricket Ground between 9 and 14 December 1960. The highlight of the match was a unique double of 100 runs and 10 wickets in a Test Match for the first time by Australian all-rounder Alan Keith Davidson. While chasing in the fourth innings of the Test Match the Australians lost their last three wickets in the last over by Wesley Hall, two of which were by run-outs, thereby ending one run short of the target.
